Eligibility Criteria of IBPS Probationary Officer Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

The Applicants who have completed graduate along with at least 60% (55% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD category) from recognized University.

Age Limit :

Minimum Age Limit : 20 years.

Maximum Age Limit : 30 years.

Age Relaxation: 

The upper age limit relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates.

Selection Process:

  1. Preliminary Exam.
  2. Mains Exam.
  3. Interview.

IBPS PO 2017 Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

  • The exam will take in two phases that are Preliminary and Main Examination.
  • The exam will be conducted online.
  • It consists of objective type.
  • There will be negative marking of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.
  • The question paper will be set in both English and Hindi languages.

Preliminary Exam:

A preliminary exam will have objective type questions for 100 marks. The questions will be divide into Three sections such as,

1. English Language.

2. Quantitative Aptitude.

3. Reasoning Ability.

Mains Exam:

The main exam will have objective type questions for 200 marks. The questions will be divided into five sections such as,

  1. English Language.
  2. Quantitative Aptitude.
  3. Reasoning Ability.
  4. General Awareness.
  5. Computer Knowledge.


Those candidates qualify in preliminary and the main exam will be called for the interview. The total marks allotted for Interview is 100 marks.
